Top Management Team's Environmental Attention and Corporate Green Technology Innovation
Based on the sample of China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed enterprises from 2006 to 2021,this paper examines the impact of environmental attention of top management team on corporate green technology innovation.The results reveal that the environmental attention of top management team significantly improves the level of green technology innovation.Mechanism anal-ysis shows that the environmental attention of top management team promotes corporate green technology innovation by attracting external green investors and reducing green agency costs.Het-erogeneity analysis indicates that the promoting effect of top management team's environmental at-tention on corporate green technology innovation is more pronounced in companies with lower levels of green technology innovation and those with a deeper degree of digital transformation.Additional-ly,the positive impact of top management team's environmental attention on corporate green tech-nology innovation is more significant when executives exhibit stronger management capabilities and possess a background in research and development.
