Research on the optimization of external negative spaces around urban rail transit stations based on POE
The comprehensive construction of urban rail transit has effectively improved the urban traffic conditions. However, during the construction, many stations have experienced the emergence of negative external spaces, leading to issues such as spatial fragmentation. This paper takes the negative external spaces around the Rail Transit Line 9 station,Gailanxi,in Chongqing as the research object.Utilizing questionnaire surveys, observational methods, and interviews, the study constructs a Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE)index system to evaluate user satisfaction with the external negative spaces of urban rail transit.Furthermore, the paper proposes design strategies to optimize these negative spaces.
