Safety analysis of tunnel construction crossing an existing rivery
This paper focuses on the construction of a tunnel that crosses an existing river and utilizes the finite element method to establish a numerical analysis model for the construction process. The study analyzes the deformation of the surrounding rock and the initial support stress distribution during the tunnel construction before and after reinforcement. The results indicate that, before the reinforcement of the tunnel surrounding rock, there is significant displacement during the construction process, and the stress on the anchor rod exceeds the specified limit, posing high construction risks. After the reinforcement of the tunnel surrounding rock, both the deformation of the surrounding rock and the stress on the initial support decrease significantly during the construction process, ensuring the safety of the tunnel construction.
