Selection and applicable scenario analysis of sewage pipe flowmeter in intelligent drainage
As an important IoT device for smart drainage,flow meters can monitor the liquid level and flow rate in the drainage pipeline in real time,and help managers understand the drainage situation and rules.As the basic data for smart drainage,flow data is the foundation and important support for decision-making analysis.Based on the harsh environment inside of the sewage pipeline,the selection of flow meters is particularly important in order to obtain stable and accurate sewage flow data.The current mainstream flow meter equipment mainly includes radar flow meters,Doppler flow meters,radar ultrasonic multifunctional flow meters,cross-correlation flow meters,and so on.Different flow meters have their own advantages and disadvantages in terms of applicability,stability,accuracy,and other aspects.In this article,we compared and analyzed the measurement principles and measured data of the four types of flow meter equipment mentioned above,explored the applicable scenarios of different flow meters,and provided a reference for the selection of sewage pipeline flow meter equipment.
