Research on layout of LRT station shuttle bus based on GIS network analysis
As the main body of the urban public passenger transport system, the coordinated development of light rail(LRT)and buses plays an important role in expanding the scope of attracting rail transit passenger flow. This study takes the city of Glasgow,UK,as an example. It uses GIS network analysis tools to calculate the scope of public transportation services in the city, and uses population density analysis to identify areas that cannot be covered by light rail and need to be connected to bus services. Then, the LA model is used to select key bus stations and light rail stations to create lines, and set shared bicycle delivery points in areas with high population density to solve the'last mile'problem of travel and provide a reference for the development of urban public transportation in similar areas.
