Gantry crane is a common port loading and unloading equipment,and its automation and intelligence are important to improve the efficiency and safety of port operations. With the continuous development of technology,more and more intelligent systems have been applied to gantry cranes. This paper introduces the design and implementation of an intelligent identification system for gantry cranes. The results show that the system can realize automated and intelligent port loading and unloading operations,and improve operational efficiency and safety.
