Influence of wheel flat on fatigue damage of high-speed train axles
The non-power axle of the high-speed train was taken as the research object.Based on the rigid-flexible coupling dynamics model of vehicle track,material mechanics analysis method,SWT fatigue damage model,and Miner's damage accumulation theory,the influence of wheel flat on axle fatigue damage by calculating the kinetic behavior and stress-strain response characteristics under the action of normal wheel and flat wheel was analyzed.The results show that under the action of wheel flat,the amplitude of wheel-rail force and axle-box vibration acceleration will significantly increase,but a series of suspension pendant force due to the role of pendant damper caused by the wheel flat has less effect on it.In the process of vehicle operation,with the cyclic rotation of the wheelset,the axle fatigue damage fluctuation is more intense in different rolling cycles,which has the characteristics of a normal distribution.The existence of the wheel flat will exacerbate the fatigue damage of the axle so that its service life is sharply reduced.Therefore,in the design stage of the axle,it is necessary to consider the influence of wheel and rail defects such as flat on the service life of the axle.
