Research on electromechanical coupling characteristics of permanent magnet semi-direct drive system for scraper conveyor under complex working conditions
A permanent magnet semi-direct drive system composed of a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a planetary gear reducer was proposed for scraper conveyor.The multibody dynamic model of the scraper conveyor mechanical system and the permanent magnet semi-direct drive control system model were built based on Adams and Matlab/Simulink.Co-simulation of the electromechanical coupling system was completed.Various working conditions of scraper conveyor were analyzed,including no-load,light load and heavy load.The output characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motor were gained.The dynamic characteristics of the scraper conveyor were obtained.The results show that the permanent magnet semi-direct drive system can achieve fast output of low speed and large torque,with small fluctuations in output rotation speed and good follow-up of output torque.The permanent magnet semi-direct drive system has good starting performance and transmission stability.Under the influence of polygonal effect,the rotation speed of the scraper conveyor head,the speed of the chain link and chain tension exhibit periodic fluctuations.The polygonal effect causes the slip of the chain link during the meshing process,resulting in fluctuating contact forces.The fluctuation of load torque and chain link tension intensifies with the increase of load and sprocket speed.
