Micro-nano tribological properties of Ag/MoS2-WS2 composites
In order to investigate the effect of Ag/MoS2-WS2 composites in solving the problems of high stable current-carrying and anti-wear of space current-carrying friction components,nanoindentation,nano-scratching,surface profilometer, and scanning electron microscopy were used to study the mechanical behaviour and friction and wear characteristics of Ag/MoS2-WS2 composites at different loads and currents on the micro-and nano-mechanical scales. The results show that the Ag/MoS2-WS2 composites exhibit good plasticity under the precise small forces, and the indentatioon modulus and hardness show a nonlinear relationship with the load, and the change mechanism is mainly dominated by the size effect and plastic deformation together. With the increase of load, the maximum depth of indentation and the plastic depth of Ag/MoS2-WS2 composites increase linearly. When the load increases from 10 mN to 20 mN,the maximum depth increases by about 44%,and the plastic depth increases by about 51%.When the load increases from 20 mN to 50 mN,the maximum depth increases by about 78%,and the plastic depth increases by about 79%,and the transition load is about 20 mN.At lower loads(50-100 mN),the Ag/MoS2-WS2 composites have better wear resistance.
