With the rapid development of smart cities,new basic surveying and mapping plays an important role in the construction of smart cities.This article analyzes the role of new basic surveying and mapping in the construction of smart cities,including promoting the intelligent development of smart cities,promoting the multifunctional development of smart cities,and providing necessary basic information for smart city construction.At the same time,the article also explores the application of new basic surveying and mapping in the construction of smart cities,including remote sensing technology,level,real scene 3D technology,and the application of spatial base data.On this basis,taking Shanghai as an example,this paper analyzes the practice of constructing a new basic surveying and mapping system in the area,aiming to provide useful references for the construction of smart cities.
