Application and Advantages of BIM in Large-scale Infrastructure Engineering
With the advancement of technology and the continuous development of the construction industry,Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology has been widely applied in large-scale infrastructure projects.This article aims to explore the application of BIM technology in large-scale infrastructure engineering and the advantages it brings.Through the analysis of actual projects,this article summarizes the specific applications of BIM technology in the early planning,design,construction bidding,construction stage,and operation and maintenance stage,and explores its advantages in improving engineering quality,efficiency,safety,and reducing engineering costs,risks,and resource consumption.Research has shown that the application of BIM technology helps to achieve digitalization,intelligence,and greening of large-scale infrastructure projects,providing strong support for the development of China's construction industry.
