The role of Building Information Modeling(BIM)in the field of green buildings is receiving increasing attention.This article explores the application of BIM throughout the entire lifecycle of buildings,including energy-saving design,sustainable material selection,construction and project management,as well as building operation and maintenance.Through in-depth analysis and specific case studies,we quantified the potential impact of BIM technology in reducing building environmental footprint,improving sustainability,and economic benefits.This article emphasizes BIM as a key tool for sustainable building practices,providing guidance for the construction industry to move towards a more environmentally friendly,efficient,and sustainable future.
