Exploration of Accessible Design for Underground Stations Based on the Smart City Concept
This study explores which design scheme can meet the barrier-free requirements for underground stations based on the smart city concept. The research methodology involves literature review and on-site investigations, combining technologies and concepts such as the Internet of Things(IoT),accessible design, smart navigation, and energy management systems.Various aspects of underground stations are thoroughly analyzed. The research results show that accessible design for underground stations based on the smart city concept should encompass multiple considerations. It should provide accessible pathways and facilities such as ramps, elevators, and tactile paving to meet the needs of individuals with mobility challenges.Secondly, intelligent technology and information technology are used to provide real-time navigation, information inquiry and emergency help to improve the convenience and safety of barrier-free access. Therefore, accessible design for underground stations based on the smart city concept can effectively enhance the travel experience and safety for passengers,as well as contribute to the sustainable development of cities.Further research and practical implementation will help promote widespread application of accessible design in underground station construction, and provide a more convenient and inclusive travel environment for all sectors of society.
