Research on the Reconstruction Mode of Mengzhuiwan Block Based on the Regional Cultural Characteristics of Chengdu
Facing the phenomenon that big cities have suffered from the impact of internationalization and become increasingly homogeneous,the government has begun to attach importance to the key role of cultural heritage in urban renewal.However,under the strong influence of the pan-Chinese cultural background,many urban renewal attaches importance to the retro repair of the exterior facade of the block while ignoring the integration and infiltration of urban regional culture.This paper takes the successful transformation experience of Chengdu Mengzhuiwan as an example to explore the important role of Chengdu Tianfu Culture in the local urban renewal of Chengdu,and hopes that such a renewal model can be promoted and applied to urban renewal projects in China's metropolises.
