The application of BIM technology in highway construction has certain feasibility and effectiveness,and it is necessary to promote the wider and deeper application effects of BIM technology,providing strong support for the application of construction technology and construction organization management.The paper studies the application of BIM technology in highway construction.After sufficient argumentation,it analyzes the key points of BIM technology application from the aspects of construction simulation,quality management,and schedule management.It not only needs to solve common problems in the application process,but also needs to be refined to the main construction processes such as roadbed and pavement,so as to find specific solutions,reduce quality hazards,and improve construction efficiency.
