Practice and Exploration of BIM Technology in Cost Control of Engineering Projects
Engineering project cost control is a complex and systematic project that involves information collection,classification,and processing in multiple disciplines,stages,and fields.The traditional work mode relies heavily on human resources,and there are many errors and loopholes that cannot guarantee the accuracy and completeness of relevant data information.The paper studies the practice and exploration of BIM technology in cost control of engineering projects.Based on clarifying the current situation of cost control and the advantages of BIM application,starting from different stages such as project decision-making,project design,bidding,project construction,and completion settlement,the application points of BIM technology in the entire process of cost control of engineering projects are analyzed,which is beneficial for improving the level of data information sharing and enhancing the collaborative ability of different participating units,and improving the quality and efficiency of cost control.
