Accelerating the construction of ecological civilization and improving the quality of water environment are important manifestations of the concept of green development.It is necessary to strengthen source control,adopt a scientific governance ap-proach that is divided into watersheds,regions,and stages,and systematically promote water pollution prevention and control,water resource management,and water ecological protection.The paper studies the design scheme of water body regulation and improve-ment engineering under the concept of green development.Based on the understanding of the project overview,the overall design ideas are analyzed.Starting from the aspects of point source treatment,non-point source treatment,endogenous treatment,water eco-logical restoration,water resource allocation,pipeline restoration,etc.,the key and difficult issues of water body regulation and im-provement are emphasized and analyzed at the same time,which promotes the deep integration of theory and practice,and achieves better comprehensive improvement effects.
