Abstract

This paper expounds the core principles and objectives of green construction,including reducing resource consumption,reducing environmental impact and improving efficiency and economy.Then,it provides a detailed analysis of various methods and strategies for implementing green construction,such as the use of energy-saving building materials and technologies,effective waste management and recycling,water conservation and recycling,environmentally friendly construction methods,and green construction site management.In addition,it discusses the concept and practice of sustainable design in civil engineering,focusing on environmental protection and ecological balance,social responsibility and community participation,and technological innovation and development trends.
