Research on the Application of BIM Technology in the Whole Life cycle of the Comprehensive Pipe Corridor Project Outside the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park
The comprehensive pipe corridor project outside the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition Park is one of the municipal infrastructure construction projects of the Expo, which is designed and constructed to ensure the supply safety of the Expo, meet the development needs of new urban land, improve the effect of urban landscape, and improve the construction of infrastructure construction and the regional road network function of Yanqing District, and it is a key project in Beijing. In order to improve project quality, shorten construction period and save cost, the project uses BIM software like civil 3D,and Revit for terrain recognition, complex node design, and collaborative design during the design phase, greatly improving the design quality and efficiency.it uses Navisworks,Revit, and 3dmax software for collision inspection, visual disclosure, and construction process simulation during the construction phase. In the operation and maintenance phase,it also utilizes a smart operation and maintenance management platform to achieve visual control, intelligent emergency response, intensive management, and safe operations. This paper will elaborate on the specific application of BIM technology in each stage of the project, hoping to provide some help for readers.
