1965 was the beginning year of the third front construction in Guangyuan. Due to its special geographical location and abundant natural resources,Guangyuan became one of the important towns for the third front construction in Southwest China. Its industry developed rapidly,and now it has left behind a large number of precious industrial relics. This article analyzes the historical evolution,architectural characteristics,and diverse values of Guangyuan industrial relics under the background of the third front construction. It attempts to transform and utilize them on the basis of protection,such as functional replacement and the introduction of energy-saving technologies,in order to better integrate industrial relics into urban life and provide reference opinions for the protection and utilization of industrial relics in the future.
