Response of Litter Decomposition Mass Loss Rate to Simulated Nitrogen And Sulfur Deposition with Rotation-orthogonal Combination Design
Relations between the litter decomposition of Dunn Eucalyptus dunnii plantation and the deposition of N and S were studied by means of a quadratic rotation-orthogonal combination design, and regression models for the weight loss and N/S deposition were also established.Experiment results indicate that S deposition promotes litter decomposition within the coded range(-1.414,1414) and N deposition promotes litter decomposition at a lower level(-1414,0) but the code increases to 0,it inhibits litter decomposition;that for the increasing effects of litter weight loss,S deposition is much more important than N deposition and S deposition plays a positive role in the impact of N deposition on litter decomposition-promoting;and that both S and N depositions display an effect of mutual promotion within the coded range(-0.5,1.414) of sulfur and(-1,1.414) of nitrogen.
