Geomorphy, hydrogeological and land use in Chishui Alsophila Natural Reserve were investigated through RS and GIS. The results show that; in the nature reserve medium mountains were the primary topography, and the terrain shows a hypsographic feature. There were a great many of rivers and river density was so large to 1 km/ km'2. Between the highest riverbed and the lowest, the altitude was 102. 6 m in the distance of 1 000 m. The primary landuse was virgin forest and the percentage of virgin forest was 98. 7%. Subtropic evergreen broadleaf was typical vegetation and distributed in the region up to 900 m. There were many bamboo forests under 900 m, and river valley monsoon forests, distributing in low altitute riverside region.
