Diurnal dynamics of photosynthetic characteristics of Pinus massoniana and Pinus elliottii saplings under similar habitat
The diurnal dynamics of photosynthetic characteristics of P. massoniana and P. elliottii saplings under similar habitat were investigated by using LI-6400 portable photosynthesis system. The results show that the diurnal dynamics of Pn of P. massoniana and P. elliottii leaves presented a bimodal curve and an obvious "midday depression" phenomenon occurred, the peak, values both occurred at about 11: 00am and l7: 00pm; the main reason for the midday depression of photosynthesis was stomatallimitation; there was significant positive correlation between Pn of Pinus massoniana and Pw, but no significant correlation between Pn of Pinus elliottii and relative factors; the day average of Pn of Pinus elliottii (1.855 μmol·m-2 s-1) was higher than that of Pinus massoniana (1.473μmol·m-2 s-1') .
