Effects of shading on yield and physiological and biochemical characteristics of Pinus massoniana
In order to control quality of Pinus massoniana spike to promote rooting rate for cutting, study the physiological and biochemical basis for improving the quality of Pinus massoiana spike by shading,In this testing,The pine scion stock were shaded 75%,50% and 0,respectively,The yield, nutrient content, enzyme activity and the content of endogenous hormones ofPinus massoniana spike were measured. Results show that the number and length of sprout were decreased, the average number of sprout was decreased by 31% and 28%,respectively,and the average length was decreased by 18% and 10% under 75% shading and 50% shading conditions; The contents of endogenous hormones GA,ZT,IAA and ABA increased,GA,IAA and ABA were the highest in 50% shading treatments, which were 200%,5.99% and 13.9% higher than that of the control,The content of ZT was highest under the condition of 75% shading and 27.5% higher than that of control; The content of soluble sugar and soluble protein were increased by 12.3% and 169% compared with the control under the condition of 50% shading; The activity of PPO,POD,SOD and CAT increased, but the activity of IAAO decreased;Due to the shading treatment improved the physiology quality of Pinus massoniana spike, the rooting rate of cuttings was increased, and the rooting rate was 86.5% after shading for 75%.
