Spatio-temporal evolution and influencing mechanism of ecology and regional development in Hunan province from the perspective of resilience
[Objective]The construction of ecological civilization is an important cornerstone of regional sustainable development,and the coordination between the overall development of the region and the ecosystem has important guiding significance for improving regional resilience.Through the analysis of the spatio-temporal differentiation of the coupling and coordination level between the ecosystem and regional development of prefecture level cities in Hunan province,the differences and development constraints affecting regional coordinated development were revealed,providing a reference path for the ecological sustainability and regional stable coordinated development of Hunan province.[Method]From the perspective of resilience,the theoretical framework and index system of the coordinated development of ecosystem and regional development were constructed.Linear weighted comprehensive evaluation and coupling coordination analysis were used to examine the level of ecosystem and regional development in Hunan Province from 2010 to 2020,as well as the spatio-temporal evolution of the coupling between the two systems.Then,the influence mechanism of regional coupled coordinated development was further explored based on the methods of Geodetector,principal component regression analysis and obstacle degree model.[Result]From 2010 to 2020,the comprehensive evaluation and coupling coordination degree of ecosystem®ional development in various cities and prefectures of Hunan province were on the rise,showing a roughly U-shaped spatial pattern.In terms of regional development differences,with the gradual advancement of provincial comprehensive development from east to west,the coupling coordination degree formed a spatial pattern of high in the east and low in the west in 2020.The development differences first increased and then decreased,and the ecological system of the Dongting Lake area and the regional development score of the western of Hunan were still rated as the last of the four major sectors.In terms of system coordination,Hunan province had upgraded from near unbalanced development to primary coordinated development in the past decade.However,the growth of the ecosystem still lagged behind regional development,and most regions had not fully utilized their ecological base advantages.[Conclusion]Over the past decade,the overall level of comprehensive development in Hunan province has tended to be balanced,but the gap between the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan area and the Western of Hunan is still significant.From the perspective of resilience,the coordinated development of ecological networks and urban activity contact networks can help improve the level of regional coupling and coordination.The improvement of coupling coordination degree is strongly related to indicators such as per capita green space area,ecological connectivity,and urban nighttime vitality.Ecological connectivity,comprehensive utilization rate of solid waste,and per capita actual use of foreign investment are important obstacles factors.
