Study on the Accounting of Gross Ecosystem Production of Forest in Chaling County,Hunan Province
Taking Chaling County as the research object,based on the theory of ecosystem service function as-sessment,we used ArcGIS 10.8 software and InVEST 3.14 model to calculatethe forest ecosystem gross produc-tion during 2010-2020 from three aspects:the value of product provisioning service,the value of regulating service,and the value of cultural service are analyzed.The results showed that,the forest GEP in Chaling County during 2010-2020 showed an upward trend,with an increase of 12.60%during the ten years,and the values of various types of services were ranked in order of magnitude as follows:regulating services>cul-tural services>product provisioning.Except for the decrease in climate regulation value and almost no change in air purification value,the other functional values of the forest ecosystem services of Chaling County during 2010-2020 showed an upward trend,and the values of each service were in the following order of magnitude:water conservation>climate regulation>cultural services>soil retention>fixation of carbon and release of oxygen>forest products>air purification.The result verifies that forests have important ecological functions,which are of great significance for the management and protection of forest ecosystems,the promo-tion of ecological civilization construction,and the transformation of"green mountains"into"silver mountains"in Chaling County.
