Effects of Pinus massoniana Forests with Different Stand Structures on Insect Diversity——A Case Study of Hunan Xiangxiang Dongtaishan Nature Reserve
By studying the stand space structure and insect biodiversity between the pure Pinus massoniana for-ests and the Pinus massoniana conifer-broadleaved mixed forests, and analyzing the degree of correlation be-tween the two,the following conclusions were drawn:Pinus massoniana conifer-broadleaved mixed forests ten-ded to be more moderate and more open. The number of insect species,Simpson index,Shannon-Wiener in-dex,and Pielou index in the mixed forests of Pinus massoniana were higher than those in the pure Pinus masso-niana forests, and the number and species diversity of insects were higher from May to August comparing other months. It was similar in different Pinus massoniana stand types, that the correlation degree between the spatial structure index and the insect biodiversity, mainly charactered as follows:mingling degree>opening degree>neighborhood comparison.
