Research on the Development of Forest and Grassland Carbon Sink in Guangdong&Fujian&Guizhou Provinces
Green development is an inherent requirement for high-quality development,forest and grassland carbon sink is an important content of green development.The carbon pool of forest and grassland is the"ballast"for the"carbon peaking"and"carbon neutrality"goals.In the present study,we investigated the findings of a comprehensive survey concerning the current status of forest and grassland carbon sink work in Guangdong,Fujian,and Guizhou provinces from three dimensions:the measurement and monitoring system of carbon sink,the consolidation and enhancement of carbon sink capacity,and the mechanism for realizing ecological value.It is summarized that the achievements and main problems in the development of forest and grass carbon sinks in these three provinces.Strategies and suggestions were proposed for accelerating the de-velopment of forest and grassland,with the hope of contributing to the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neu-trality.
