Review of Research Progress in Monitoring and Evaluation of Mangrove Ecosystem
The mangrove ecosystem is an important component of marine ecosystems.With the intensification of human activities,mangrove resources have been continuously being damaged.It is high time to protect and restore mangroves.However,the standard systems for both monitoring and evaluation of mangrove ecosystem are insuffi-cient,resulting in inconsistent content and methods for mangrove monitoring and evaluation.To change this situa-tion,through reviewing the relevant literature,we summarized the current status of mangrove ecosystem monito-ring and evaluation,and prospected development trends of the monitoring and evaluation of mangrove ecosystem.This review aims to provide references for the monitoring and evaluation of mangrove ecosystem in China.
