Exploration of Forest Classification Management Practice in National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest
Based on the example of forest classification management in National Park of Hainan Tropical Rain-forest,this paper determined the status quo of biological and forest resources in this park through field investi-gation.The results showed that:the forests in the National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest were divided in-to 5 categories:strict protection management group,conservation and restoration management group,artificially promoted restoration management group,restrictive management group,science popularization and recreation management group;5 forest management approaches were formulated according to the actual forest resources and forest management types,and the main measures to protect the forest of National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest are based on closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation,supplemented by ecological restoration,focu-sing on biodiversity protection.This paper provides practical experience and technical support for the classifi-cation management of tropical rain forests.
