Analysis of Ecological Carrying Capacity of Public Welfare Forest in Guangdong Province
Public welfare forest is the essence and main body of forest resources and an important carrier of eco-logical civilization.Based on the PSR model and combined with the evaluation results of forest ecological vulnera-bility in Guangdong Province,we used the entropy weight method to determine the indicator weight,to construct an evaluation index system for the ecological carrying capacity of the public welfare forest in Guangdong Province.The distribution pattern of ecological carrying capacity levels of the public welfare forest in Guangdong Province is analyzed.The results show that the Guangdong provincial public welfare forest ecosystem is in a relatively stable state.In total,public welfare forest in Guangdong could be divided into three ecological bearing capacity levels:loading,moderate loading,and mild overload.Divided by administrative divisions,the moderate overloaded and heavy overload areas are mainly distributed in Qingyuan,Shaoguan,and Zhaoqing.A comprehensive evaluation of the ecological carrying capacity and a better understanding of spatial distribution characteristics of the public welfare forest in Guangdong Province can provide theoretical support for optimizing the layout of public welfare forests,high-level protection of forest resources,and high-quality development of forestry.
