Construction and Optimization of Ecological Security Pattern in Mountainous Counties Based on MCR Model——A Case Study of Chaling County,Hunan Province
Establishing a scientifically sound regional ecological security pattern is fundamental to ensuring the stability and security of the local ecological land.Chaling County,a mountainous county in Zhuzhou City,Hunan Province, was taken as the study area to construct the ecological security pattern, and the corresponding ecological protection and restoration methods and spatial optimization schemes were put forward. The results showed that 9 ecological sources were identified in the study area, and the spatial distribution was characterized by "scattered distribution, relatively independent".A total of 36 potential ecological corridors and 20 ecologi-cal nodes were extracted, the ecological corridors surround the whole county boundary and have high connectivi-ty and good closure.Overall,Chaling County exhibited a low sensitivity from northeast to southwest, and high sensitivity from northwest and southeast hills and mountains. The overall ecological security pattern was good.Through the analysis of ecological security pattern construction in Chaling County, this study defines the ecological space pattern in this region and indicates that promoting the implementation of regional ecological protection and restoration projects by "source-corridor-node"mode,and scientifically and rationally constructing ecological security pattern and optimizating scheme are very important to coordinate the contradic-tion between economic development and environmental protection in Chaling County.
