基于归一化差异水体指数的水体面积变化监测

以东洞庭湖为研究区域,利用2022 年Terra/MODIS卫星数据,结合水体指数法,对东洞庭湖2022 年水体面积变化进行监测,通过比较EWI、NDWI、MNDWI 三种水体指数精度,选取最适合研究区域的水体指数.研究结果表明:①Terra/MODIS卫星数据在中尺度水体面积提取方面具有较好效果.②EWI、NDWI和MNDWI三种水体指数中,NDWI表现最好,NDWI的总体精度和Kappa系数最高.③2022 年东洞庭湖水体面积在 5-7 月期间较大,其他月份较小.其中,3 月初水体面积最小,为15 392 hm2;6 月初水体面积最大,达到了99 745 hm2.
Monitoring of Water Area Changes Based on the Normalized Difference Water Index
Based on Terra/MODIS satellite data from January to December 2022,the water area of East Dongting Lake was calculated,and the accuracy of EWI,NDWI,and MNDWI,three water indices,were compared.The results showed that:(1)Terra/MODIS satellite data had good effects in extracting water area on the mesoscale.(2)Among the three water indices of EWI,NDWI,and MNDWI,NDWI performed the best in water extraction,with the highest accuracy and Kappa coefficient.(3)In 2022,the water area of East Dongting Lake exhibited a characteristic of being small at both ends and large in the middle,which meant that it was larger from May to July and smaller in other months.Specifically,the water area was the smallest at the beginning of March,reaching 15 392 hm2,while it was the largest at the beginning of June,reaching 99 745 hm2.
