The Purification Effects of Constructed Wetland on TDS,Turb, and FDOM in Water Bodies
This study, utilizing the constructed wetland at the Beijing Wildlife Rescue Center as a case study, was aimed to explore the removal efficiency of artificial wetlands on water bodies for TDS,Turb, and FDOM.It evaluated the purification effect of artificial wetlands as an ecological purification system under different envi-ronmental conditions on the aforementioned indicators.Using fixed-point observation and comparative analysis methods, water samples were collected and monitored at the constructed wetland of the Beijing Wildlife Rescue Center from May to July 2023.Different sampling points were selected for water sample collection, monitoring the concentration changes of TDS,Turb, and FDOM,and comparing them with data from the same period in 2009.The YSI 6820 multiparameter water quality monitor was used for on-site measurement of related indica-tors in the water samples. The results showed that the removal rates of TDS,Turb, and FDOMin constructed wetland increased with the distance from sampling points, showing an upward trend, and there were differences in removal rates between different months.Comparative analysis of the turbidity removal rates of constructed wetland in 2009 showed that the removal rate in 2023 was significantly improved;an increase in water tempera-ture could accelerate the removal efficiency of constructed wetland for TDS,Turb, and FDOM.
