Research on the Changes and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Carbon Density of Grassland Vegetation in Alpine Regions——Taking Changdu City as an Example
Based on the field data,Sentinel-2 and Landsat-8 remote sensing data, and the vector data-base of comprehensive monitoring results of forest and grassland ecology in Changdu in 2022,we estimated the carbon density of grassland in Changdu. The optimal vegetation carbon storage estimation(STK-SVR)of grassland in Changdu was constructed by using an ensemble learning algorithm and optimized forward fea-ture screening method. Then we analyzed the spatial distribution of carbon density of grassland vegetation in Changdu by the model. The results showed that the carbon density of grassland vegetation was in the range of 0.02~29.77 t/hm2,with a mean of 8.53 t/hm2 in Changdu. The underground carbon density of grassland vegetation was much higher than the aboveground carbon density of grassland vegetation. The grassland carbon densities in the central south and northeast were higher than the the northwest, and southeast parts of Changdu. The maximum carbon density of grassland vegetation at different altitudes, slopes, and orientations is distribu-ted in the areas of 3 560~4 059 meters, east slope, and gentle slope, respectively. This study is an initial exploration for calculating grassland carbon sink in the alpine region, which aims to provide insights and refer-ences to related research conducted on Qinghai-Xizang plateau in the future.
