The Research on Current Situation and Countermeasures of Nature Protected Areas in Hunan Province
In order to effectively promote the integration and optimization of nature protected areas in Hunan province,based on the survey data of Hunan province's protected area in 2020,a combination of qualitative and quantitative assessment methods was used to evaluate the natural resource and ecological value attributes,scope boundary,the contradiction between development and protection,and the management status of 582 nature protected areas in Hunan province.The results showed that the natural resource and ecological value attributes of all kinds of nature protected areas were higher overall.However,there were generally overlapping and varying degrees of contradictions,and historical problems,and the basics of most conservation management were mediocre.It is suggested to optimize the spatial layout of resources further scientifically,integrate the overlapping nature protected areas,clarify the unique types and levels,optimizethe partition of boundaries and functions,properly handle the contradiction between humans and land,and enhance the protection and management capacity of management institutions.
