A harmonic suppression method with LC resonance block
A method of harmonic suppression with LC resonant block is proposed.The series resonant block composed of inductor and capacitor components is connected to the incoming line of the system in series,and it can be used together with the traditional passive power filter.The LC resonance element presents different equivalent inductance values for fundamental wave and harmonic wave,and it shows large equivalent inductance for harmonic wave,thus increasing the equivalent impedance of harmonic wave of the system and forcing harmonics into the passive power filter.By designing appropriate parameter,the LC resonant block can also appear as an small equivalent inductor to the fundamental wave,and the reactive power consumed on the equivalent inductor is equal to or slightly greater than the capacitive reactive power provided by the passive power filter,so harmonic suppression under the condition of no compensation or absorption of reactive power can be realized.Simulation results verify the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method.
