To explore the relationship between mobile phone dependence and academic frustration among normal students,and to investigate the mediating role of life meaning and the moderating role of self-manage-ment ability,this research adopts the mobile phone dependence scale,self-management ability scale,young stu-dents'academic frustration questionnaire and life meaning scale to survey 628 normal students in ordinary univer-sities in Guangdong Province.The results showed that:(1)Normal students'mobile phone dependence can posi-tively predict academic frustration,and the life meaning and self-management ability can significantly predict ac-ademic frustration in a negative direction;(2)The life meaning of normal students plays a partial role in mediat-ing between mobile phone dependence and academic frustration;(3)Normal students'self-management ability plays a moderating role between life meaning and academic frustration,mobile phone dependence and academic frustration.
