Study on the Influence of School Sports Environment on University Students'Self-caring Ability:Taking interpersonal relationship on campus as the mediating variable
This paper aims to study the influence of school sports environment on university students'self-care ability and the mediating role of on-campus interpersonal relationship in both.By using the type random sampling method,3718 non-sports major students from five universities in Jiangxi Province were selected as the research subjects and the information on school sports environment, university students'self-care,and on-campus interpersonal relationship was collected through questionnaires. The mediation effect model was constructed by using the built-in Process analytical tool of the SPSS statistical software, and the statistical significance of media-tion effect was examined through the Bootstrap resampling algorithm. Results show that the school sports envi-ronment was positively correlated with university students'self-care ability and intramural interpersonal harmony(r=0.214,P<0.001;r=0.065,P<0.01),and negatively correlated with intramural interpersonal compartmentalisa-tion(r=-0.129,P<0.001);intramural interpersonal compartmentalisation was negatively correlated with universi-ty students'self-care ability(r=-0.443,P<0.001),and intramural interpersonal harmony was positively correlated with self-care ability(r= 0.247,P<0.001).The school sports environment had a significant direct effect on uni-versity students'self-care([β]=0.163,P<0.001),and the mediating effect of intramural interpersonal relationships accounted for 25.62%of the total effect.School sports environment can have an effect on the development of uni-versity students'self-care ability, while intramural interpersonal relationships play a mediating role in the develop-ment of school sports environment and university students'self-care ability.
