Characteristics and Model of University Sports Online Competitions
Sports online competition is a kind of sports competition activity relying on the mobile internet platform,which is a new development mode of traditional sports competition in the network era.The characteris-tics of college students'sports online competition and its mode are studied in depth by using the literature meth-od,case study method and logical analysis method.It is found that the modes of sports online competition mainly include the combination of online and offline,and online sports competition.The case study concludes that the or-ganization and implementation of university sports online competition can be divided into five steps,namely,preparation stage,release of information,competition regulations,ranking evaluation and event summary,and the organization and implementation need to pay attention to six aspects,namely,competition rules and systems,ref-erees'evaluation,technical support and guarantee,publicity and promotion,organization coordination and sum-mary evaluation.The research results of this paper enable the participants and spectators of sports competition to interact through the virtual space of sports competition,break the limitation of region and time,and promote the innovation and development of sports competition.
