摘要
以政治文化的理论视角,分析了缅甸政治文化的特点,并论证其对政治转型产生的影响.缅甸的政治文化包括追求所谓"自由民主"和"宪政"的理念,以及宽容和非暴力的思想.前者受英国殖民统治政治遗产的影响,后者源于在缅甸有较大影响力的南传上座部佛教思想.缅甸的政治文化塑造了该国的政治转型,经历了一条循序渐进、对社会冲击力和破坏最小的道路.虽然目前缅甸的政治转型遭遇了挫折,其政治文化继续发挥着影响政治活动参与者的作用.
Abstract
Through political cultural approach,this article analyzes Myanmar's political culture and its effects on the democratic transition.Myanmar's political culture includes the ideals of liberal democracy and constitution-alism,as well as tolerance and non-violence.The former is influenced by the political legacy of British colonial rule,while the latter is derived from Theravada Buddhism,which has great influence in Myanmar.Myanmar's po-litical culture has shaped the country's political transition along a gradual path with minimal social impact and dis-ruption.Despite the setbacks of Myanmar's current political transition,its political culture continues to play a role in influencing political actors.
