Analysis and Countermeasures of the Column Arrangement in Local University Journals
The column setting is an important link in the periodical editing work and an important embodi-ment of the overall image and academic influence of the periodical.Based on the working practice,this study takes the column setting of Journal of Zhaoqing University from 2019 to 2023 as the research object,and finds that there are not many advantageous subject columns among the columns of the journal in the past five years;that the characteristic columns have little influence;that the column stability is poor;and that 29 columns have been set for more than two years,and 53 columns in one year,and a considerable part of column names in the set-ting overlap or are similar.To this end,it is proposed to organize regularly and optimize the column name setting;Excavate excellent columns to maintain the continuity of the setting;Give full play to the advantages of disci-plines and create special columns of disciplines;Rely on regional advantages,strengthen the local connotation and characteristic columns;Keep up with the development of The Times,set up The Times characteristic column countermeasures and suggestions.
