Analysis of the Translation of Ah,Fragrant Snow Based on the Theory of Translator Behavior Criticism
Ah,Fragrant Snow is a representative story of Tie Ning's early works.It was translated and pub-lished in the form of a collection of works by Panda Books Series in 1990.The translator,Zha Jianying,with a background of both Chinese and Western culture,provides a unique perspective for the study of this work.Based on the Theory of Translator Behavior Criticism,this article attempts to explore the translation of Ah,Fragrant Snow from two dimensions of"Perspective of Behavior-Text"and"Perspective of Behavior-Society",comprehen-sively inspects the willpower of the translation subject,the social nature of translation activities,and the complex-ity of translation production and analyzes the quality and elements of translation practice.
