How Graduates of Vocational Colleges Reduce Their Employment Anxiety:An empirical study from the perspective of psychological resilience and employment cognition
An investigation using quantitative methods among 1,109 vocational college graduates of the 2024 in Province A reveals that psychological resilience is negatively correlated with employment anxiety, and the in-fluence of psychological resilience on employment anxiety is greater among female students, rural students, and liberal arts students. The degree of pessimism in employment cognition is also positively correlated with employ-ment anxiety, and gender, region, and professional background all have an impact on this. To alleviate employ-ment anxiety,it is recommended that vocational colleges strengthen the cultivation of psychological resilience, deepen employment cognition education, establish a comprehensive mental health mechanism that covers the en-tire process, achieve full-spectrum mental health coverage, and consider the normalization of mental health educa-tion for special groups to provide personalized psychological support.
