Analysis of Aesthetic Representation of the English Translation of Distant Sunflower Fields from the Perspective of Translation Aesthetics
"Non-fiction writing"has the characteristics of being short,true and close to life,which makes it a powerful force to promote the overseas dissemination of Chinese stories. Li Juan,a contemporary Chinese female writer,has won praise in the literary world for her non-fiction writing. Distant Sunflower Fields is one of her two works translated in the English world,which has received attention and praise from both professional scholars and ordinary readers. The translation reproduces the aesthetic meaning of the original in terms of concept content,form,image description and style elements. In addition,the translator also adds a human perspective to the trans-lation based on the western"rationalist aesthetics",so that readers can perceive the existence of personal thinking in aesthetic judgment.
