Viewing Exhibition and Exhibit Design from the Goals,Methods,and Processes of Science Education:Insights from Practice and Research in Science and Technology Museums on Educational Activities for Exhibition and Exhibit Design
In recent years,the practice and research of educational activities in science and technology museums has posed both challenges and inspiration for the design of exhibition and exhibits.How can exhibits facilitate experiential and exploratory learning?How can exhibitions convey profound scientific connotations and themes?How to create an exhibition environment that not only has profound scientific connotations but can also guide experiential and exploratory learning?This paper analyzes the problems of exhibition design from three perspectives,explores the successful experiences of educational activities in science and technology museums in various regions,the educational theories and methods contained therein,and the new ideas and methods introduced into exhibition design by the above theories and practices to exhibition design.
