Short-term exhibitions play a crucial role in shaping the image of science and technology museums and enhancing audience engagement through their flexible formats,extensive content coverage,frequent updates,and rapid response.More and more attention has been paid to science and technology museums.However,compared to permanent exhibitions,short-term exhibitions face greater challenges in terms of timeliness and capital investment which affect security measures.In addition,given the unique characteristics of the audience in science and technology museums,security concerns are heightened for short-term exhibitions.This paper provides an overview of the security elements of exhibitions in science and technology museums.By summarizing and analyzing the major short-term exhibitions held by the Hangzhou Low Carbon Science and Technology Museum in recent years,this paper classifies the security,analyzes them in the form of cases,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
