This paper focuses on the research of ChatGPT to strengthen the overall understanding in the digital construction of science museum.Hoping to provide reference for the digital transformation of science museum through the application of new AI technologies.Based on the practice of ChatGPT,this paper summarizes the opportunities of ChatGPT in the digital transformation of science museum by analyzing the development,technical characteristics,technological applications,and application methods of ChatGPT.This includes improving efficiency and empowerment in research support,digital exhibitions,intelligent customer service,and other aspects.It also discusses the challenges of ChatGPT in the digital transformation of science museum,including the issues of scientific content,information security,purpose of use,dependency,and laws and regulations,and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
