Academic research is the foundation of a museum,and academic exchange is the fundamental guarantee for the high-quality development of natural science museums.A multi-channel and multi-level academic exchange platform system has been established in China's natural science museums,mainly consisting of academic conferences,academic publications,and new media.However,there is considerable room for improvement in the number and participation of academic conferences,the influence of academic publications,and the interactivity of new media platforms.Therefore,further attention should be paid to academic research and exchange,building comprehensive service platforms,improving academic incentive mechanisms,and enriching communication methods,so as to enhance the quality and efficiency of academic exchanges in natural science museums and promote the high-quality development of science popularization.
