罗伯逊多功能雾化器是19 世纪末 20 世纪初流行于西方的医用雾化设备.其盛衰始末具有鲜明的时空属性,在体现医学知识与医疗实践历史演变的同时,又展示出由医学从业者、医学博览会与医学仪器贸易所构建的全球性医学网络,成为医学史研究的重要物证.还原罗伯逊多功能雾化器的生命历程,有助于从器物史视角充实完善医学史研究,有助于发掘医学仪器在当代博物馆与公共教育中的独特价值.
Abstract
The Robertson's Multiple Comminuter was a popular medical atomization apparatus in the West at the end of 19th century and beginning of the 20th century.Its lifespan has distinct temporal and spatial attributes.While reflecting the historical development of medical knowledge and practice,it also shows the global medical network constructed by medical practitioners,medical expos and the trade in medical instruments,and becomes an important physical evidence for the study of medical history.The restoration of the life process of the Robertson's Multiple Comminuter helps to enrich and improve medical history research from the perspective of artefact history,and to explore the unique value of medical instruments in contemporary museums and public education.
